PlayStation Plus Season of Play Kicked Off With Free PS Plus Multiplayer Weekend, Avatars and Stars Campaign

Sony has kicked off the PlayStation Plus Season of Play with a free PS Plus multiplayer weekend, avatars, and free star points.

To celebrate the holiday season, the PS Plus Season of Play offers a month of activities including a free Online Multiplayer Weekend, exclusive avatars, and more. The free online multiplayer weekend will start on December 9 at 12:01 am through December 10 at 11:59 pm local time and will offer online multiplayer without the need for a PS Plus subscription. As such, all PlayStation players can play against or with each other online during the weekend.

Available starting today are exclusive new PS5 and PS4 avatars which can be redeemed through a voucher code, including avatars of Ghost of Tsushima, Rainbow Six Siege, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and others. To get a code for these new avatars, visit the PlayStation Plus website or check the PlayStation Season of Play page on your console. The code can be redeemed from December 5, 2023, through January 5, 2024.

Also interesting is the PlayStation Stars Campaign which runs from December 5 through January 5, 2024. As part of this campaign, players can earn 50 bonus stars by redeeming and playing any of the December PlayStation Plus Monthly Games, including LEGO 2K Drive, Powerwash Simulator, and Sable.

There are various other activities as part of the PS Plus Season of Play, and suggest reading Sony’s official blog post here. “Starting from tomorrow through January 5, 2024, we’re celebrating the holiday season with a month full of activities for our PlayStation community”, Sony writes on its blog. “As part of the PlayStation Plus Season of Play, PlayStation Plus members can redeem free avatars for PS5 and PS4 consoles, join eSports tournaments, earn points on PlayStation Stars, save on PlayStation Gear merchandise, and enter a competition for your chance to win amazing prizes. Activities for those who are not PlayStation Plus members are available as well.”
